We had a great customer with a 2006-2008 Audi A4 looking to upgrade his stock headlights. Moises from Hawthorne, California wanted something unique to show off his Audi when he returned from leave. He is stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington and enlisted in the United States Army. Moises knows a thing or two when it comes to visibility especially dealing with cold climates where he polices his base. We went with the Spyder LED Projectors in black SKU: PRO-YD-AA405-DRL-BK. These are really nice they have built in LED lights that run during the day and projectors for the low beams. We also decided to do a 8000k HID upgrade at the same time to increase the vehicles light output.

Step 1: Remove the front bumper but be careful there are many fasteners holding this on. Start with the ones on the top of the grill that attach the bumper to the radiator core support. Then you must remove the front wheels and take out the inner plastic fender lining to access the ones behind the bumper sides. There are also some under the bottom of the bumper. Take your time once removed the bumper will come off easy.
Step 2: Remove the factory headlights and factory headlight harness plug.Step 3: Install the headlight ballasts behind the headlights. It is good to test fit the stock headlight to make sure there is enough clearance.
Step 4: Unpack the new headlights and remove the factory bulbs and rubber boots.
Step 5: Cut a hole in the new headlights rubber boot for the HID wiring. Make sure to use silicone around the insert. Install the new HID bulb into the light make sure it is mounted correctly. I would also recommend to use silicone around the rubber boot to make sure there is a good seal to the head light. Otherwise you will get moisture because of the HID conversion. This is not necessary with the stock bulb setup.
Step 6: Hook up the wiring and install headlights on both sides.
Step 7: Make sure the fender gaps are the same on both sides. We had to play with ours a bit to get them to line up.
Step 8: Turn on your lights to make sure the HID's, LED's and high beams are working.
Step 9: Once you test all the lights reinstall the front bumper.
Step 10: Make sure all the gaps are the same on the bumper and you are finished.
